Susan Boyle is quitting her native Scotland for London, after record bosses persuaded her to move to a more secure property.

The internet sensation's brother Gerry recently told reporters how the star lives in constant fear of attacks after an intruder broke into her small home in West Lothian, Scotland in January.

American Idol Judge Simon Cowell admitted on a documentary to be aired in Britain this coming Saturday that he didn't really support "X- Factor" runner up Susan Boyle as she shot to fame.

Said Cowell: "I don't think that for one second when I saw that (audition) tape that any of us suddenly went 'What are the repercussions for her.'

"That's when you suddenly realize, 'I haven't thought about this person as a human being.' And it was a real wake up call I've got to tell you."

A COMPLAINT against Newstalk Breakfast Show presenter Claire Byrne for calling singer Susan Boyle a “freak” and “not right in the head” has been upheld by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

In a finding published yesterday the authority said Ms Byrne’s comments were “inherently offensive”, “disrespectful” and “not editorially justified”.

Ms Byrne made the remarks on-air when she was speaking to presenter Tom Dunne, who was doing the morning programme that followed on from the Breakfast Show .

Two of her brothers are now voicing concerns for her well-being and speaking out about her ability to handle the pressure of global stardom.

"The traveling and the whole [fame] thing is exhausting. She still has her anxieties and her loneliness," her brother Gerry tells PEOPLE in the latest cover story.

Her other brother, John, is even more blunt: "She needs 24-hour care. She needs to be looked after."

JAPPAN- Scottish singer Susan Boyle will take part in a special concert to be hosted by the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra on April 1 at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

Boyle was working as a volunteer for a local church when she became an international star after appearing on the British TV show "Britain's Got Talent" last year.

She also made a name for herself in Japan after singing at last year's "Kohaku Uta gassen," the annual TV music show aired every New Year's Eve.

Barry Manilow has given Susan Boyle a big thumbs-up - but has warned the Britain's Got Talent runner-up of the perils of fame.

Copacabana superstar Manilow, one of the biggest singing stars of all time with record sales of more than 80million behind him, said that stardom had almost finished him off.

He said: "With Susan Boyle, fame hit her so hard that it kind of knocked her off her feet. When she appeared on Britain's Got Talent, it was very moving to see what she could do."

Susan is on her way home from another great trip! After her stunning performance at the Sanremo festival last night, she spent the night in Monte Carlo and was up bright and early to catch the plane from Cote D’Azure airport to Orly Paris. She spent some time in the Sers Hotel in Paris having lunch with her team. Then after a brief rest she had her hair and makeup done and changed into her current favourite dress: a mid length silver sparkly number covered in bugle beads. She wore two simple Swarovski crystal crucifixes around her neck and black Chanel shoes.

Once she was fully dressed for her performance, she was driven to the Vivement Dimanche studios where she performed - by popular demand - I Dreamed A Dream to a standing ovation. One of Susans team listened from the sound gallery where at least two burly sound technicians were wiping away a tear! Francois, one of the audience commented, ‘I travelled all the way from Pons to be here today. I would travel miles just to hear that exceptional voice. That it was just one song does not matter - one song is one memory that I will treasure.’

Susan sped off to catch the last Eurostar back to Kings Cross - she is currently eating a risotto dinner on the train with her manager and niece and hopes to catch a few winks before disembarking at Kings Cross tonight. She says of this trip, ‘Who would have thought this - we have been in four countries in just 24 hours: Italy, Monaco, France and England!’ She will stay overnight in London where she will be filming for her Japanese record label tomorrow.
Vivement Dimanche does not yet have a confirmed transmission date but we’ll keep you posted.

"I was like a scared child before, but I'm not the scared person I used to be," Boyle tells CBS Sunday Morning. "I had to learn how to deal with a lot of publicity, and the glare of attention. And that takes a bit to get used to. But I got there in the end!"

It began with the recording sessions for I Dreamed a Dream, her best-selling CD released late last year, in which she surprised herself with her vocal range and versatility on songs like "Amazing Grace," the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" and Madonna's "You'll See."

THE millions who watched Britain's Got Talent that evening were in on the birth of one of - if not "the" - most unlikely showbiz superstars of all time.

Many of them would have read in the newspapers in the preceding 48 hours about Susan Boyle, but nothing could really have prepared them for what they were to see.

To coin an old phrase, "You had to be there."

It began with a backstage shot of Boyle munching on a salad sandwich and her voiceover saying, "My name is Susan Boyle, nearly 48, currently unemployed, but still looking and I'm going to sing for you on Britain's Got Talent today."

Then she was greeted by presenters Ant and Dec.

But now it has been revealed that Susan Boyle and her cat Pebbles are living apart.

Pebbles - SuBo's constant companion before her rise to stardom - has been boarded out with a pensioner in London.

And the pedigree Turkish swimming cat even refused to come out to see Susan when she visited her last week.

Susan, 48, has been so busy working all over the world that she has only seen 11-year-old Pebbles three times since July.

Paige dismissed SuBo, who achieved a lifetime's ambition when she duetted with Miss Paige in a version of I Know Him So Well on her very own TV show as 'a virus that swept the world'.

But last night, she told The Daily Mail: 'I wasn’t referring to Susan herself; I was referring to the speed of her fame spreading as fast as a worldwide viral marketing campaign.'
