Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle has recorded her first track, which has already been praised by the toughest critic on television Simon Cowell.

Re: Susan Boyle records her first track

I think it must be true because they actually quote Simon Cowell.
When stories aren't true they always say "an unclaimed source" or something to that effect.
I'm so happy to hear that the CD has been started.
Go Susan!! The BGT tour is over, now it's time to be a Professional Singer!!

Re: Susan Boyle records her first track

I'm so glad she has started to record her voice. I can
hardly wait to listen to her sing new songs. What a voice!
Polly.

I hope this Sun story isn't another "Ugly Betty" diversion to sell that pathetic rag. It's the only source I've seen, about as trustworthy as snake oil. I'm waiting for independent confirmation, more than "The Sun is reporting..." with a verbatim rehash. It may indeed be true, but Susan's been kind of busy lately, what with all that traveling and performing almost every night on the tour, so I can't help wondering. Oh yeah, and there's that source thing...
But I'm with you, Polly. It's hard, biding our time.

Re: Susan Boyle records her first track

Well, most of the celebrity press has picked up the story, as has UPI--which also reported Ugly Betty as a done deal. I still doubt the album track because the tour schedule was so tight and strenuous. Now we've come to the end of the tour. We fans are entering a very long dry spell with no new Susan fixes in sight until a single or an album is released. We're going to see a lot of doubtful stories for the purpose of keeping her name in the news. Some (like maybe this one) will be feel-good and positive, and may even come from Susan's camp so the public won't forget about her. But some won't, because positive doesn't sell papers as well as tears and tirades. The tabloids will be desperate for material, so I'm planing to take everything I read with a shaker of salt. I hope she'll be well and happy working on her project--and I'm not about to forget. But now, without the daily suspense of will she/won't she, maybe I can get some housework done.
