Now that Susan Boyle has recorded her first album track and Simon Cowell is delighted, maybe it is time to choose some favorite songs that Susan would surely do justice too.
Here's my top ten for her new album — add yours below.
The Rose by Bette Midler — Would be wonderful in Susan's hands, the soaring lyrics and notes would be perfectly in tune with her trained voice — a must-sing.

Re: My top 10 songs for Susan Boyle
How delighted to hear Susan's latest and how proud I am of her for being in the semi-finals!! God has given you what all of us in this world need!! We ALL need some positiv!! We love you Susan and keep it up!!
I would love anything she would sing, but since she is active in her church choir, I would love some Celtic hymns on an album.

I always thought that only Julie London could do justice to "Cry Me A River" but after hearing Susan's version I think it would be perfect for her first album.
She would also make a very good job of "You'll Never Walk Alone"

Another Song I believe would fit Susan's Voice would be
"The Wind Beneath My Wings" another of Bette's big hits.
Another one like her BGT appropriate selection that mirrored her life like "I Dreamed a Dream" would be
"I Want To Know What Love Is" since she's never been kiss.
