Susan Boyle betrayed by Amanda Holden

I am ashamed at the actions of amanda against the gentle spirit of Susan Boyle.This is a cheap act of a jealous woman.
I am saddened to just find out what a cheap shot Amanda did towards Susan.
I personally have written Amanda's agent to ask them to drop her.
I would love to see a protest against Susan's performance in Shrek at the theatre.
The entire audience should wear Susan Boyle shirt or shame on you Amanda.

I know exactly why Amanda did it, it's because no one outside of the U.K. knew who she was until Susan Boyle sang and now Susan Boyle has become far more famous than she will ever be. Quite a blow to the ego, right? The world loves Susan, I didn't even know Amanda's name until I had to google it.

I am not sure I think it is healthy to believe that the way one survives in this world is to lose trust--even of all people in show business. I could not possibly learn to live that way, and I doubt Susan can. One may learn to be more cautious, or more discerning, or to accept that some people will let you down. But to write off an entire group of people--especially as they are going to be the people you work with in your career!--would be a dreadful and unnecessary outcome.

But maybe learn that a person who can only smile by wrinkling her nose prettily is probably going to have a serious problem being a real human being in any meaningful sense of the world.

eyem4u - I read that CBS just signed Amanda to a rather lucrative contract. Does anyone know where to send an e-mail to let them know how we feel about Amanda? Most are disgusted (I am one of them) but some are not, I know. Regardless, I think they should realize that Amanda is not what they need on their network!!

This will backfire terribly for Amanda! HOWEVER I'm GLAD that she did it for not one but TWO reasons.............

Firstly: The world gets to see what Amanda is really like!

(I wonder how she will learn to cope with the Boos when she next makes a public appearance?)

Secondly: Susan will learn NOT to trust ANYONE in SHOWBIZ!!!

Susan is FAR TOO TRUSTING for her own good, so this betrayal will obviously disappoint her, but it will also "Toughen her up a bit"

A very well-written article here. I'm pleased that everyone is sending Amanda a major message. I saw her on the BGT you tube with Susan and was convinced she was extremely moved and sincere.

Can't figure out what happened. Was she being icredibly false and insincere from the getgo or was she very easily swayed for cash or,... well, I just don't know.

Sending Support Susan's way. Stay Susan. The one who is above the fray and a blessing in the show biz arena is you, and definitely NOT her!
