Susan Boyle breaks down in tears on U.S. tour

I was there, too, and Susan was brought to tears by the quilt and the message that was hand stitched in one of the squares. IT WAS NOT FROM STRESS. Some journalist will stoop so low to try to make a buck, especially at the expense of trying to make a lovely person like Susan look bad. Everyone there could tell Susan was enjoying herself.

Even in the photo with her thumb in her mouth, her eyes were playful. There is a gift in her disability. this might sound strange but she has far less inhibitions than the average adult who thinks in the box about proper behavior. She has a childlike playfulness that is so refreshing. I don't believe this unfortunate article will get much traction. Good thing too. :-)

I'm not quite sure why this scurrilous article is on this site.
Having seen the videos of how happy Susan was, and reading the comments of the people who were there, I realised this is another attempt to undermine and bully this lovely lady. We could all see how happy and excited Susan was both at her performance and when she was given the quilt. Her sense of humour is amazing - so quick and apt.

I have tried to post replies on Mail on line article twice pointing out that they are not telling the truth, and, surprise, surprise, they have not allowed either of them. I understand from American friends that some sites have now withdrawn the article while others continue, even though they are aware it is incorrect and defamatory.

I am about to make an official complaint to the Press regulatory authority (can't remember their name at the mo) and suggest others do the same.

She was in tears because she was just presented (by her fans)two beautiful hand made quilts. One was full size and the other was a smaller one for Pebbles. It was a very moving and emotional ceremony. Check out your story before reporting such rubbish.

Anyone with eyes could see Susan was "clowning around" with her Fans with her thumb in her mouth.
Look at the Fans around her laughing.
Apparently the "The Mail" will do anything to sell newspapers. What a Crock of "Sh**" this story is.

What a load of rubbish. This article is littered with half truths, misogynistic ageist bias, deliberate cruel slights which are all aimed at someone who has overcome many obstacles in her life and has a fabulous voice that approximately 350 million people worldwide enjoy. Why tear her down? Because you can, you are a pathetic journalist and not worth your salt. This is a poorly researched and hateful article that is full of inaccuracies. You are probably jealous of Susan's success and I can see why- you are a bad journalist who resorts to sensationalistic drivel to earn a quid. Get a life. I hope that Susan's management takes you to task and complains about the inaccuracies and half truths contained in this article.

Not true she was enjoying her fans and special gifts given to her so she was a little emotional to see how people in NeW York love her but she did not break down in tears. I was there anyone would feel greatful when treated so special as her fans did. Stop lying to the public Susan was funny joking and fine.
