TV presenter calls Susan Boyle ‘retarded’

I am less enthusiastic about Ricky Gervais since he used the word mong in regards to Susan Boyle. I am a fan of hers. I have not watched a video of his since the news.

Paul Henry is a popular morning television star in our country, and is often heard saying things that are not politically correct but that a large group of people may say were they not on TV. Though he was wrong in saying something like that, I think a lot of people are taking far too much offense. Stop being so sensitive, he is not the only television personality in the world that has ever said something untoward during a live broadcast.

Sorry, this is off-topic. I am trying to register on this site, but I can't unscramble the letters or whatever it is I'm supposed to do to solve the puzzle. I can manage the "simple math problem" here, but I'm just no good at word jumbles. I tried to contact the webmaster, but it says I can only do that if I'm registered. Can anyone help? Or is there some other way?

Some folks are just ignorant jerks as is the case with this Paul somebody.
Some people are terrifically gifted as is the case with Susan Boyle. I am thrilled for her and am delighted to listen to her great gift.

Susan is such a star! We need more people like Susan in the world that are genuine and fewer insensitive dimwits!

The presenter has no class and manners, he is rude and should not be on tv , they should fire him and find somebody else instead. He can use his manners and rude language in different industry .

Think about it. Who would you rather associate with one on one?
I'd much rather have the company of Susan Boyle over "Bucky the Beaver".

Retarded is archaic. I am a Community Sister who works with people with learning disabilities, and Susan by observing her on T V has a very slight disability. I don't know the presenter, but he sounds like he has no morals and extremely ignorant. Susan is a lovely, polite lady who has took the world by storm in a matter of months and doesn't deserve any negative feedback. If he can't say anything nice then he should say nothing.

Who hired him in the first place? He is not attractive, has the worst teeth on television anywhere in the world, sounds like his has something stuck in his mouth when he speaks, and is not interesting at all. The only reason people know him now is because of his ignorance. Susan Boyle has talent - and class. Paul Henry clearly lacks both.

I watch his morning show, and always enjoy it. His trademark is to just say what we all think, and this is one of those cases.
