Susan Boyle, the Scottish singing sensation that made international headlines once she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and stunned judges and audiences with her clear and very strong voice, is en route to another breakdown, friends believe. As of late, under the stress of the release of her first album, “I Dreamed a Dream,” Miss Boyle has started acting very strangely, the Mirror says.
The British tabloid claims to have it from very reliable sources that Susan Boyle is not exactly what one might call “well.”

The minute Ms Boyle gets rid of the contract with the silly people from the show she is going to be free to work with serious musicians. Who would feel particularly well when you have to work for people (the record company-britains got talent show)who plan, monitor and evaluate her every move? I can't wait to see what comes out of her talent once she stops working with people that know as much about music as Susan Boyle knows about the media.

Susan needs a CD player that she can plug it into her ears,
then she can play it as much as she wants and only she can hear it. I have a CD player so I can listen to Susan as much as
I want without distribing others in my house and neighborhood.

Since when did the British tabloids use reliable sources for anything to do with Susan? They are out to sell newspapers and this type of rubbish sells. Don't be mislead. We could all be regarded as "acting strangely" at times for someone looking for mischief.

Well I may have gotten it wrong but it sounded as though Susan had reached out to them and trusted them, and they promised to be there for her, but you make a good point. Why was the media contacted then? It just didn't have "scandal" written all over it, they way I read it. I certainly could be wrong.
One thing I know. If I had lived through the struggles that she has throughout life, and rather suddenly became the top selling recording artist across the globe, I would play my own album a hundred times over too. It's kind of like the "pinch me so I know I'm not dreaming" scenario. If neighbors are simply tired of hearing it then I hope she plays it a few hundred times a day. :-)

They sound the sort of friends Susan can do without. Friends are there to encourage, support, console and advise not chat to the press about the personal feelings/attitude of someone.

This piece was written in the tone of the sincere concern of friends and neighbors who see her having difficulties and wanting to support her. Things are going as they should now. The album is out, she can return to her little cottage and Pebbles for life as usual until another album comes out.She is wonderful to her fans and the public loves her, but she is smart to know that it's time to slow down a little and regroup in her home.
This article doesn't smack of paparazzi smuttiness. It's concerned neighbors sharing with a responsible journalist.
She needs peace and quiet and we can pray for her that she does get it. Surely Simon and others are tuning in to her limits and will not get in her way. They've been great up to now and will continue to be. Yay.
