Can you remember where you were when you saw the 20th of January 2009 audition on “Britain's Got Talent” for the first time?
A year later I certainly can. I was in my office the next day when one of my editors called me over to her machine and showed me the You Tube clip. She had tears flowing down her cheeks.
I began to watch and thought it was some kind of tragedy or bad joke until suddenly Susan began to sing.

Yep I still listen to it too and get chills and tears seeing it. It does not get old! I love how she was sort of divinely guided to take those courageous steps across that stage and astound the planet. Any hopes of manufacturing another Susan Boyle moment with others singing hopefuls could never happen. This is a phenomena that ca't be replicated. I adore the moment and have it fairly well memorized.

-- I will never forget it! My friend told me about seeing her on TV and how marvelous she was! Then I saw her on UTube and it was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen! She had such a beautiful, powerful voice and it was such a thrill to see the audience and the judges respond with a standing ovation! The excitement was electric and everyone was 'gobsmacked' to use a good descriptive word! :)
Of any of the shows since, that first one was the most astonishing! It was the element of not having a clue what to expect when Susan walked on to the stage and then she just gave them a 'rush' just as she had promised she would! Totally awesome!
I often listen to that initial audition and always enjoy it!
