"I was like a scared child before, but I'm not the scared person I used to be," Boyle tells CBS Sunday Morning. "I had to learn how to deal with a lot of publicity, and the glare of attention. And that takes a bit to get used to. But I got there in the end!"
It began with the recording sessions for I Dreamed a Dream, her best-selling CD released late last year, in which she surprised herself with her vocal range and versatility on songs like "Amazing Grace," the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" and Madonna's "You'll See."

I am glad I got to spend time on this Earth at the same time as Ms. Boyle. Wow!

I'm so glad to see that Susan is not so scared anymore. She is a great Star! I hope she will continue to please us with her
singing for many years.
