Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
###
"If only it weren't for Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest.
“I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!”

Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Lambert is so jealous, it's pathetic. Incidentally, to date, Susan's debut album has sold approximately 10 million! He hasn't reached 1/10th that number. He is the laughable one to even have the gall to comment on Ms. Boyle.
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Lambert is jealous...he has sold nowhere near the music that Boyle has, and she doesn't have to be gross in her performances like HE does. Yes, Lambert has a great voice, but there is absolutely NO way he is better than Boyle. He thinks he is better than anyone else...his greatness is in his own teeny tiny mind.
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Funny to read such a comment from someone who's name I never heard! He must have a knot in his ear, or listened to the wrong recording, since the one I heard was magnificent!
So, how anyone can make such a horrible comment is an absolute marvel to me. If he really is a critic or (even worse) a singer himself, this is the most disqualifying statement I can think of!
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
I am an Adam Lambert fan who thinks he should apologize to Susam Doyle for making that statement to radio listeners. My mom always said "If you don't have something nice to say, keep it to yourself." While her style of singing isn't my preference, she is extremely talented and humble at the same time. Adam could learn something about modesty and manners from her. Grow up a little and play nice!
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Guess what Adam, everyone is so fed up with your comments about Susan, your not doing yourself any favours by dissing Susan, your acting like a naughty little boy,its time you grew up,and shut up.

Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Adam... I must say that you have definately something wrong with you, enough has been said about how wonderful Susan's singing is
all around the world, her fan club shows that as well. All that hear her are amazed out of someone that has had not much training on her first appearence on UK Idol, the judges faces said it all.
Wake up to yourself, maybe as a lot are saying you are jealous
of her because she has done so well and made money!!!!
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Who the hell is adam lambert!! Listening to Susans cd now Love it!
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Adam your comments is obviously jealousy and a desperate attempt to get more publicity by using Susan Boyle. A few people have tried this already it does not work. Be happy with the little talent you have Adam. Iam sure you have your own fans. Why talk about other artists. Susan sold many albums because people like her music millions times better than yours`. Sorry if you sold much much less than Susan, sometimes we need to accept the things we can not change. Adam you said you laughed at Susan's wild horses, Mick Jagger loved it. You go Susan congratulations.
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Adam Lambert is your typical idot, he must also be deaf, in my view, Susan Boyle is way better than Celion Dion, no disrespect ot Celion, as or Elaine Page, what can I say, in one CD you have sirpassed most of the great 's of this time.
Adam Lambert maybe in the next life... so step aside and deal with life.
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
I'm afraid that I find it hard to be civil when I hear such trash! In fact, trash comes to mind when I think of Lambert! How can anyone in their right mind laugh about her rendition of 'Wild Horses'. It is so hauntingly beautiful!
This guy had better 'grow up'. Agree with all the posts here.

Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Mr. Lambert has his opinion and is, I am sure, paid generously for the effort. He is a professional commentator and critic and quite little else. Perhaps he does not understand certain things about talent, recording, production or any of that. In my humble opinion he simply likes other things. I am sure that what he says or what he wrote is aimed at publicity, either positive or negative, to either gain more reader or veiwership. Of course, in the Show Business World there is no such thing as "bad publicity". Those of us in this club love Suasn Boyle's voice and her album and I think we should take Mr. Lambert's criticisms with a few grains of salt and a bit of humorous report. Most of us who know anything about talent, music and its production at all, and if we were exposed to any of Mr. Lambert's comments, read them and put the screed where all ther others go: In the bottom of the bird cage.
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Ah, the Rolling Stones song so many have others have recorded. It might the be the best thing Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote and performed the poorest. Susan soars on this one. Lets hear. Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey try this. (with glissandos, legattos, pizzicatos, repetatoes, and carioattos modern singers like to add for style; Rene' cured Celine Dione of relying on that crutch and trained her to, instead, incorporate it and control it in her songs. I am glad Susan relies on none of that 'figurato fuzz'.) Susan has, by all standars, one of the great natural voices. Others such as Yma Sumac, Diana Ross and Loreena McKinnett come to mind. Genetics must matrix perfectly to come up with voices like these. Training disciplines and polishes them. Practice and performance perfects them.
In the studio, the talents and skills of the writers, arrangers, orchestrators, engineers and supporting musicians, combined with the best production and recording equipment one can find, recorded to perfect takes and edited to a fine jewel, the released is all that can be artistically offered.
If, and only if, it is good enough, will a truly discerning audience buy it and judge it for themselves. Critics may have a play. But they should not delude themselves into believing they are the actual 'guardians of excellence' they claim they are and by which they make their livings; They are, in fact and in most cases, experienced commentators with excellent writing skills and, for all else, little else. So we may take Mr. Lambert's opinion as it is for what it is; Just that. Which is his god given right. That he does not like or appreciate Ms. Boyle's album means nothing to my tastes. Lets all be civil with him and give him his due, shall we?
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
I agree. Adam is jealous of Susan. She has a beautiful voice, and in my opinion, Adam's music is TERRIBLE!!! He's way to loud when he sings, it's like a screeching bird trapped in a cage.
Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
Have millions of people worldwide got it so wrong? I don't think so!

Re: Adam Lambert disses Susan Boyle’s album
This doesn't worry me Adam's immaturity is showing a little and failing at reaching No. 1 over Susan in November has his jealousy showing. Since Mick Jagger admitted that Susan's version of Wild Horses surpassed his own, then Adam laughing at it means nothing really. Sorry Adam.
