Susan gives me hope.
She is such an inspiration. I am a hefty and rather homely woman, except I don't have a gift like Susan's. So, I find happiness on the internet. It's a way for me to reach out to other people. But seeing Susan impress so many people with her wonderful voice makes me think that I might have something to offer the world too.
Susan is also a religious woman and I admire that as well. I also believe in god and do not like the vile nastiness you sometimes see on the internet.
I'm glad I found this forum so we can talk about how great Susan is as a person, inside and out.

Re: Susan gives me hope.
Hey Edna - nice to meet you. I am also rather hefty and homely (haha). I enjoyed your honest post and one thing I truly believe is that God doesn't make mistakes; he made you, me and all of us for his good reasons. Homely is as homely does, not as homely looks. There are a lot of homely people out there, but you aren't one of 'em and neither am I. Susan brought back this bit of wisdom for the whole world to see and that is part of her inspirational appeal, God Bless Her. She also reminded me once again that , as underlined by her mom's passing, life is finite and we better take risks eventually, in order to live life more fully. The smile on the face of a friend is always beautiful!
