Susan Detractors/Susan Fans

I get that not everyone in the world is going to love Susan Boyle like we do-nor do they have to.
We're not twisting their arms.
What I DON'T get is why these people go around to various sites from You Tube to Newsprint making terrible comments about her.They're nasty and some are downright viscous.Some comments/stories are lies and personal attacks.Meant to do harm.
I get that some folks might not like Susan's personality.Maybe they don't like her singing,her style or even her musical genre.
Bottom Line:Then don't watch her performances,plan on buying her cd's or going to her concerts.NOBODY is making you.We're not forcing you to like her and we're not making you buy her cd's or getting a ticket for a concert.You don't have to view her You Tube videos and above all you don't have to come to her fan sites.

There has to be something better in life to do than tear one person down for no apparent reason other than some people love her and appreciate her singing.
I've seen alot of hype over far less talented people. Not the kind of hype i'd be proud of either.I won't mention any names but you can fill in the dotted line with the name of a number of celebrities.
Now that's the side of the story about Susan's detractors.Let's talk about the rest of us-her world wide fan base.Country doesn't matter.She crosses those lines.There's nothing political about Susan.
She appeals to people of all countries and cultures.Why?
First and foremost;her voice.
People know beauty when they hear it.
I've not been this interested in someone since i was a teen and the Beatles hit our shores big time.
I got over that teenage idolizing a LOOOONG time ago.
Susan is NOT a celebrity. Odd as that sounds.
She's not some superwoman,diva,icon.
She put everything else in her life first before she walked on that stage at BGT.
She didn't seek fame. .She's not perfect or saintly though.
We know that.
She's HUMAN and SHE knows it.
She epitomizes the dignity owed to every human being and we,her fans,are giving that to her for every single person out here.She's one of us with a God given talent we recognize as a God given talent.
Let's be honest.The world doesn't get that.
On the other hand,
Susan Boyle is pretty simple stuff.
She lives in a little village with her cat,she takes care of her folks,she goes to church and she loves to sing.
And one day she walks onto an audition stage and takes the chance of a lifetime.
That's it.
Nothing more,nothing less.She had something to offer too and that she knew.
What she did that day she sang I Dreamed A Dream so beautifully is inspiring to people everywhere. (She topped herself in the final).
The rags made too much of things like;is she going to get a makeover,will people still like her then,what dress,hair style ...eegads it went on and on.
They missed the point.
Susan Boyle is here to stay and she will be successful even beyond our wildest dreams.I hope so.Then we can tell her detractors to take a leap without saying a single word.
(although i did tell one of these nasty people to "get a life".
I swear-has to be something missing there).
